Haven't been drawing much lately, and one of the few things I did draw I can't share because it's for the concrete canvas sketchbook, so it's supposed to stay secret until the book comes out. I did draw something for a stencil revolution battle (subject 'god'), but it was too similar to someone else's entry and I decided to save it so I can try my hand at digital coloring; here's the sketch for historical purposes.
And a quick demon sketch for good measure.
Merry christmas and a happy 2009!

Does it werk?
An illustration that is supposed to go with an article about the financial crisis. Not sure if it's going to make it to print because it's kind of a vague and sad illustration, but oh well.

Kid cone and the puppet of sock
Haven't been using my moleskine for a while, but here's a recent drawing i did in it.
What do you think of this, puppet of sock? It seems the very earth we're standing on has taken it upon itself to thwart me in my quest to follow my geodesic.

Under the sea
Did this as an illustration for a student magazine, for an article about the official start of the antares neutrino telescope. It's scheduled to be published today, but i haven't seen if the image made it in yet.

Straight lines, curved lines
In my quest to try out overdone stuff, I did this little perspective drawing over'ere. The cast shadows were drawn without thinking about any particular lightsource, so yeah, they don't make sense.

If I could travel to the stars
It would definately be inside a giant dragonfly suit.. This was actually for a stnclrvltn battle thread, untill i realized a giant dragonfly suit does not really count as an 'astral body'
to the stars.. and beyond! again!
And I guess the weird blurry thing is caused by firefox3 which for some reason thinks the images are displayed in different dimensions than they actually are, and rescales them smoothly (instead of nearest neighbour like it used to)
edit: ok im dumb, firefox was zoomed in at like 105% or something so that caused the blurring.

Lack Draws Sporadically
Haven't done much drawing lately, did make a quick painting and revised another one, but I don't have the means to put them up. Since it's kinda stupid to have a sketch blog without anything on it for more than a month, I drew a monster that looks suspiciously like the HULK just for the occasion.
And now, back to the object oriented data analysis framework! Lack... AWAY!

Angry charcoal portraits
I've recently bought some charcoal, and I'm very much excited about it. It's actually not that long since I've used charcoal, but I forgot how fast and dirty you can throw something down with them, a whole different world compared to using a thin pencil. Here's some angry potraits on plain printerpaper in preperation for a project I'm thinking of doing.

Drawings on the interwebs
Looking around the internet for forums with people who draw, I found a thread where people posted pictures of themselves for others to draw (which then could be posted in another thread). I thought this would be fun and drew something, but I haven't gotten around posting it because I don't think it's on par with the other stuff over there (It doesn't look anything like it's source). Anyway, here it is.
And a funky drawing of a dude on a bike, for a battle on stencilrevolution:

Have you guys heard about this band?
It's called HATESEED, and the only thing that's real about it is this sketch I made for their self-titled debut album.
I made it for a competition at Sketchtheater, where they have all these video's of real artists drawing, it's actually pretty damn cool.

Whoo!
Hello world! again. It was my intention to write a small piece about this blog, but it's probably better if I just shut up and draw more so I can show it.. to the world!
It's weird how you only realize after scanning sketchbookpages in how cluttered they really are..
I'm pretty sure I stole the idea of a tree growing out of someones head from somewhere, but I guess all ideas are stolen from something.
(first real post whoo!)
